Daniela Steinberger is a board certified physician for Human Genetics. She has been actively involved in human genetic diagnostics and research for nearly 25 years. She is a member of the faculty of the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen, received her "habilitation" (PhD equivalent) based on work done in the field of molecular genetic diagnostics. She has an MBA from the European Business School (EBS) with emphasis on Health Care Management. Daniela Steinberger is also founder and medical director of bio.logis Center for Human Genetics.
Daniela is a member of various professional societies including the German Association for Human Genetics, the American Society of Human Genetics as well as the American College of Medical Genetics.
Enrico has joined bio.logis in 2015 and is responsible for the economic and operational management. Enrico has a long term experience in executive management positions of traditional companies as well as startups in various industry sectors. Before joining bio.logis, Enrico was a successful (co-)founder of several Internet start-ups, managed an IPO at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and was responsible for the merger of two listed companies. Enrico holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Economics of the University of Applied Science in Bochum, Germany.
Markus Kalkbrenner has nearly 20 years of experience in software development and has worked in a variety of responsible positions on the creation and development of software enabling several successful online products. These include jobpilot.de, mobile.de and eBay Motors. Before joining bio.logis, he spent five years in leadership positions at Cocomore AG, which under his management supported the bio.logis group in the development and implementation of their first software products. Since joining the company, he has been responsible for software development and architecture. Markus additionally serves in several open-source projects.
Stephan Fees is a PhD scientist who did his research at the University Children’s Hospital of Mainz (Germany). He has more than 10 years of experience in molecular genetic diagnostics. Before joining bio.logis GIM he worked at the Center for Human Genetics in Wiesbaden (Germany) where he headed the molecular diagnostics unit. At bio.logis GIM Stephan is responsible for the scientific communication and works with his team on aggregating medical and scientific content. In close cooperation with the software development crew Stephan and his team of experienced geneticists ensure the applicability of our products and services to diagnostic and clinical practice.
Maike Post has 20 years of experience through a variety of marketing and sales positions in the health care market for medical diagnostic products and laboratory services. She has profound insights in this special field, its stakeholders and competitive environment. Previous to bio.logis Maike has worked for Bioscentia where she was responsible for the implementation of both national and international marketing activities for the human genetics business unit. At bio.logis she develops communication strategies and is responsible for the planning and execution of all marketing activities.
Andrea has joined bio.logis in 2018 and is responsible for the commercial strategy and the sales organisation. She has long-term experiences in sales, business development and marketing in the life science and healthcare sector. Before joining bio.logis she worked at Amersham Biosciences, GE Healthcare and PerkinElmer. She holds a PhD in molecular biology as well as an MBA from the Otto Beisheim School of Management at WHU and the Kellogg School of Management, Evanston, Illinois, US.
Thomas has 10 years experience in Business Development in the life science industry. Before joining bio.logis GIM Thomas worked for Cytonet, a mid-sized biotechnology company, where he was responsible for Corporate Development, Partnering and Market Access. At bio.logis GIM Thomas is responsible for product management as well as evaluating and initiating strategic partnerships. He also supports marketing and sales activities. Thomas is a trained businessman and holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Management from the University of Kaiserslautern.
