bio.logis GIM at the 15th Annual Congress of the DGKL (German Society of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine)

| Conference

We are happy to invite you to our booth no. 303 at level 3 at the Congress Center Rosengarten in Mannheim. Just drop by for a chat or a demo on our end-to-end solution for the implementation of pharmacogenetic testing at your laboratory.

Genetic variants can have a significant impact on the efficacy of drugs. If the respective genotypes are known it is possible to adjust the dose accordingly or to prescribe an alternative drug. This results in fewer adverse drug events and improves treatment outcomes.

So far, it has been almost impossible to use existing scientifically validated treatment recommendations about genetic variants because this pharmacological knowledge was not available in a clinically leverageable format.

GIMS.pharma now enables us to offer a solution for diagnostic laboratories and hospitals, to automatically create pharmacological reports, including validated and clinically leverageable treatment and dosage recommendations based on analysis results. GIMS.pharma easily integrates with existing laboratory infrastructure.

Furthermore, findings and other information such as drug recommendations can be made available to physicians and patients via web-based or mobile apps.

Within the framework of a large-scale European consortium and in close cooperation with the KNMP (Royal Dutch Pharmacists Association), the prototype of GIMS.pharma has been successfully implemented in seven countries across Europe1.
In collaboration with a renowned institute of clinical pharmacology, bio.logis will implement the solution at a major German hospital by the end of this year2.
